Feng Xia, a 53-year-old Chinese immigrant living in Montreal, has spent her life shaped by a sense of duty—to her family, her culture, and a loveless marriage. Until one beautiful summer day, when she becomes aware of a long-buried desire… Her encounter with Camille will shake her up to the point of making a radical decision.
Drawing on her own experience as an immigrant and her legendary screen presence, Joan Chen (The Last Emperor, Twin Peaks) delivers a haunting and subtle performance. With a rare screenplay that explores age, sexuality, and cultural dislocation, this film marks not only a milestone in the history of Chinese diaspora cinema but also in the history of lesbian cinema.

WIFF award for best canadian film 2025 — selected for about 20 international film festivals

with the support of the Office for the Promotion of Equality and the Prevention of Violence of the Republic and Canton of Geneva and the Office for Integration and Citizenship of the Republic and Canton of Geneva
