LOVE ME TENDER
After 20 years together, Clémence and Laurent live separately and share custody of their son, Paul. But when Clémence tells her ex that she is dating women, he tries to obtain sole custody of their child. Thus begins a long battle to be what she has always been: a woman free to make her own choices. Without begging, excuses, or sacrifice. She fights tirelessly but stoically to free herself from injustice, sexism, and lesbophobia.
Carried by a cast of immense talent and adapted from Constance Debré’s autobiographical novel (2020), the film is a moving and powerful manifesto for bodily and emotional autonomy.
