DESIRE LINES
A shy and hesitant trans man explores the archives of an LGBTIQ+ center in search of understanding his desires; his imagination wanders into the cabins of a gay sauna… Back in the collections, he discovers Lou Sullivan (1951-1991), a pioneer of the transmasculine and openly gay movements: thus begins a journey between the memory of the archives and fantasies.
Punctuated with new questions (“can a vagina be masculine?”), the film combines testimonials and perceptions, opening up all possibilities. It deconstructs preconceived ideas, finally giving trans men’s perspective on themselves and exposing the infinite multitude of queer desires.
