QUIR
In Palermo, there is a leather goods store unlike any other called Quir. Run by Massimo and Gino, a colorful 42-year-old couple, this place is the local LGBTIQ+ headquarters, a true kingdom of love and kindness in the heart of a particularly conservative society. Here we meet the charming 90-year-old Charly, a Hollywood diva, the drag queen Ernesto, and the young transgender woman Vivian.
Through a gallery of multigenerational portraits, this immersive documentary evokes the struggles to be oneself, in a positive and inspiring tone.
