LOS DOMINGOS MUEREN MÁS PERSONAS MOST PEOPLE DIE ON SUNDAYS
David, a thirty-something gay Jewish man lacking in self-confidence, returns to Argentina to be with his family for a funeral. To quell his anxiety, he takes driving lessons, seeks out cheap healthcare, and tries to sleep with any man who shows him the slightest bit of attention.
A tragicomedy about an antihero surrounded by delightful female characters, this story is built around small intimate worries and seemingly insignificant nano-dramas: a pleasant absence of dramatic effect that reveals existential questions with a masterful sense of burlesque. And above all, a bewildering central character (written and played by the director), who provokes a particularly delicious empathy.
