A NATUREZA DAS COISAS INVISÍVEIS THE NATURE OF INVISIBLE THINGS
Little Gloria spends her vacation in a hospital with her mother, who is a nurse. It is a place of exploration and play, where she befriends patients who only have days to live. She also forms a close friendship with Sofia, who is at her grandmother’s bedside. Despite being only 10 years old, she is perceptive and convinces her mother to leave this moribund place.
From a child’s perspective, the film pushes one to embrace life and reconnects women across multiple generations. You can only reflect upon human fragility through the luminous and colorful photography, and the vibrant and feminist atmosphere within.
