Enfants, Marcel Schwald et Chris Leuenberger voulaient être des filles. Depuis, ils sont restés fascinés par les attitudes attribuées au genre féminin, surtout lorsque celles-ci riment avec émancipation. En Inde, pays où les identités de genre non-binaires ont une histoire millénaire, ils ont rencontré trois femmes luttant pour la reconnaissance et l’affirmation de leur propre féminité. Ensemble sur scène, avec le jeu et la danse, les rires et les drames, il et elles explorent la féminité, l’efféminement et l’hyper-féminité.
