Septembre 1997, en France, c’est la rentrée des classes. Jonas, 14 ans, est un adolescent discret. Quand il se fait draguer par le nouveau venu, il ne peut cacher son trouble. Parallèlement, Jonas, 18 ans plus tard, se bat dans un bar gay puis se fait mettre à la porte par son petit ami. Infirmier attentionné avec ses patients, il erre le reste du temps. Il s’est passé quelque chose… Avec un montage perspicace et un rythme captivant, le réalisateur exerce un suspens tenu jusqu’au bout. Un dénouement final qui emmène le film bien au-delà d’une simple histoire d’amour entre adolescents. Minutieux dans ses détails d’époque, il est une plongée émouvante au coeur des années ‘90. Sur une musique d’Alex Beaupain et accompagné d’Aure Atika, Félix Maritaud déploie encore une fois toute la subtilité de son talent.
