At the heart of Jenifer Prince’s work are sapphic stories told from a positive perspective.
Motivated by a desire to explore the endless possibilities of existing as a woman who loves women, the artist immerses herself in a vintage-inspired aesthetic, creating visual stories that evoke a sense of timelessness.
Her success on social media, with nearly 360,000 followers on Instagram, demonstrates the urgency for lesbian women to see themselves at their most beautiful in the mirror.<\/p>\n

Jenifer Prince grew up in Brazil in a small, conservative town where there was a glaring lack of identity identification. She freely admits that coming to terms with her sexuality has been a long journey.
As part of her graphic design studies, she is passionate about researching LGBTQI+ documentation. Immersed in cinema, visual arts, and literature, she develops her art, which is naturally oriented towards activism.
It is the discovery of an Italian erotic comic book artist and his character Valentina that inspires her 1950s style, a period she sees as particularly hard for queer people. She wanted to subvert these representations.<\/p>\n

What does the theme of the festival’s round table inspire in her: lesbian joy?! “The more we show it, the more we share it, the more it can manifest itself. Working together allows us to highlight lesbian women. We lack positive lesbian images, such as love and kissing without fear.”<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
