interacts with them\u2026 Through performances, exhibitions, workshops and festive events, the festival sets expressions free and gives everyone the space to share their feelings and explore their cinema tickets must be scanned before entering the screening room. Volunteers also help organise panel discussions and other events taking place in the cinema rooms. The role is to sell tickets and various passes, provide accreditations for invited guests, etc. Tablets and a self-service terminal are used to sell tickets. Everything is pre-programmed, and the ticketing software is easy to use after a short introduction. A box office manager will also be present most of the time and will be available to answer any questions.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2599\"><strong data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2341\">digital communications, photo &amp; video<\/strong><br data-start=\"2341\" data-end=\"2344\" \/>The festival photographs and documents the events of each edition with a mixed team of professional and volunteer photographers and videographers. To cover as many events as possible, passionate volunteers who have their own equipment are a valuable help.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2601\" data-end=\"2869\"><strong data-start=\"2601\" data-end=\"2636\">decoration \/ set-up \/ take-down<\/strong><br data-start=\"2636\" data-end=\"2639\" \/>The festival organises several events in addition to film screenings. Under the supervision of the team leaders, volunteers help install decorations, rearrange the bar area and assist the technical team with various installations.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"3074\">Before the festival, we prepare the spaces at Maison des Arts du Gr\u00fctli so they can be transformed into Everybody\u2019s Perfect and host La Paillette. We need helping hands to create this wonderful universe.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3076\" data-end=\"3285\">Once the festival is over, we need a few volunteers to tidy up, clean and pack away all the decorations at the Gr\u00fctli. Take-down takes place on the Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday following the festival.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3287\" data-end=\"3679\"><strong data-start=\"3287\" data-end=\"3299\">bookshop<\/strong><br data-start=\"3299\" data-end=\"3302\" \/>Every year, we partner with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/librairiecumulus\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3330\" data-end=\"3394\">Librairie Cumulus<\/a>. A selection of comics and graphic novels is available for sale. Volunteers will set up the bookshop area using the available decorations and equipment, and sell the books. A small cash register will be provided. A list of the comics sold must be kept up to date throughout the sales.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3681\" data-end=\"4054\"><strong data-start=\"3681\" data-end=\"3694\">care team<\/strong><br data-start=\"3694\" data-end=\"3697\" \/>The main role of the care team is prevention and mediation, by being visible and available during parties. For example, volunteers may speak with the public to introduce or remind them of the party guidelines (inclusivity, respect and care). The team also helps de-escalate situations peacefully when necessary, such as conflicts or inappropriate behaviour.<\/p> <p data-start=\"4056\" data-end=\"4446\"><strong data-start=\"4056\" data-end=\"4075\">drinks \/ events<\/strong><br data-start=\"4075\" data-end=\"4078\" \/>Every year, the festival organises events outside the cinema rooms (drinks receptions, workshops, readings, book signings, DJ nights, performances, etc.). 28px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>what is the festival?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"289\" data-end=\"453\">Everybody\u2019s Perfect is an LGBTIQ+ film festival that takes place over 10 days every October, at the Cin\u00e9mas du Gr\u00fctli and at various partner venues for its parties.<\/p> <p data-start=\"455\" data-end=\"723\">Cinema embraces all forms of art, and at Everybody\u2019s Perfect, it interacts with them\u2026 Through performances, exhibitions, workshops and festive events, the festival sets expressions free and gives everyone the space to share their feelings and explore their identities.<\/p>\n<h3>volunteer roles<\/h3> <p data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"1013\"><strong data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"764\">cinema welcome<\/strong><br data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"767\" \/>All cinema tickets must be scanned before entering the screening room. Volunteers also help organise panel discussions and other events taking place in the cinema rooms. This includes setting up chairs and passing microphones around the audience.<\/p> <p data-start=\"1015\" data-end=\"1214\"><strong data-start=\"1015\" data-end=\"1032\">party welcome<\/strong><br data-start=\"1032\" data-end=\"1035\" \/>During the festival\u2019s parties and events, the role involves welcoming the public, checking or selling entry tickets, sometimes running the cloakroom, as well as welcoming artists.<\/p> <p data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1528\"><strong data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1224\">bars<\/strong><br data-start=\"1224\" data-end=\"1227\" \/>Volunteers set up and organise the space every day under the supervision of the bar manager. The goal: to make the space welcoming, clean and friendly. Volunteers serve orders, handle payments and manage the reusable tableware. The terrace (tables, benches and tents) must be dismantled every evening.<\/p> <p data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1765\">Volunteers may also be asked to serve during events organised in the bar area (La Paillette), as well as at parties and events organised by the festival outside <a href=\"https:\/\/scenes-culturelles.geneve.ch\/grutli\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1764\">Maison des Arts du Gr\u00fctli<\/a>.<\/p> <p data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1840\">Volunteers with previous experience will be given priority for this role.<\/p> <p data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"2298\"><strong data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1863\">cinema box office<\/strong><br data-start=\"1863\" data-end=\"1866\" \/>A box office is set up at the entrance to Maison des Arts du Gr\u00fctli. The role is to sell tickets and various passes, provide accreditations for invited guests, etc. Tablets and a self-service terminal are used to sell tickets. Everything is pre-programmed, and the ticketing software is easy to use after a short introduction. A box office manager will also be present most of the time and will be available to answer any questions.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2599\"><strong data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2341\">digital communications, photo &amp; video<\/strong><br data-start=\"2341\" data-end=\"2344\" \/>The festival photographs and documents the events of each edition with a mixed team of professional and volunteer photographers and videographers. To cover as many events as possible, passionate volunteers who have their own equipment are a valuable help.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2601\" data-end=\"2869\"><strong data-start=\"2601\" data-end=\"2636\">decoration \/ set-up \/ take-down<\/strong><br data-start=\"2636\" data-end=\"2639\" \/>The festival organises several events in addition to film screenings. Under the supervision of the team leaders, volunteers help install decorations, rearrange the bar area and assist the technical team with various installations.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"3074\">Before the festival, we prepare the spaces at Maison des Arts du Gr\u00fctli so they can be transformed into Everybody\u2019s Perfect and host La Paillette. We need helping hands to create this wonderful universe.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3076\" data-end=\"3285\">Once the festival is over, we need a few volunteers to tidy up, clean and pack away all the decorations at the Gr\u00fctli. Take-down takes place on the Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday following the festival.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3287\" data-end=\"3679\"><strong data-start=\"3287\" data-end=\"3299\">bookshop<\/strong><br data-start=\"3299\" data-end=\"3302\" \/>Every year, we partner with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/librairiecumulus\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3330\" data-end=\"3394\">Librairie Cumulus<\/a>. A selection of comics and graphic novels is available for sale. Volunteers will set up the bookshop area using the available decorations and equipment, and sell the books. A small cash register will be provided. A list of the comics sold must be kept up to date throughout the sales.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3681\" data-end=\"4054\"><strong data-start=\"3681\" data-end=\"3694\">care team<\/strong><br data-start=\"3694\" data-end=\"3697\" \/>The main role of the care team is prevention and mediation, by being visible and available during parties. For example, volunteers may speak with the public to introduce or remind them of the party guidelines (inclusivity, respect and care). The team also helps de-escalate situations peacefully when necessary, such as conflicts or inappropriate behaviour.<\/p> <p data-start=\"4056\" data-end=\"4446\"><strong data-start=\"4056\" data-end=\"4075\">drinks \/ events<\/strong><br data-start=\"4075\" data-end=\"4078\" \/>Every year, the festival organises events outside the cinema rooms (drinks receptions, workshops, readings, book signings, DJ nights, performances, etc.). To make these happen, some spaces need to be rearranged, sound equipment set up, special drinks prepared, tables arranged and decorations installed. You are the face of the festival \u2013 so kindness, availability and active listening are essential. No racist, queerphobic, ableist, fatphobic or otherwise discriminatory remarks or behaviour will be tolerated.<\/p> <p data-start=\"669\" data-end=\"819\">If someone is unpleasant or disrespectful, don\u2019t hesitate to speak to your team leader or a member of the festival team.
